Founded on the belief that technology can mitigate the impact of climate change, Carbon Clean has been driving the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries for more than 15 years. The company’s vision is to deliver industrial decarbonisation on a gigatonne scale through modular carbon capture technology that can be deployed as widely and efficiently as solar panels and EV batteries.
Aniruddha Sharma, Chair and CEO of Carbon Clean, said: “We are proud to be featured by Deloitte in the 2024 EMEA Fast 500 for a second year – a programme that celebrates those who turn bold ambition into measurable growth. We’ve launched a real transformation in carbon capture, with our fully modular and columnless CycloneCC C1 series. Our focus remains on commercialising this highly innovative technology to enable its global scale-up.”
Duncan Down, Partner at Deloitte, said: “The Fast 500 EMEA ranking is a celebration of what’s possible when ambition meets execution. In a context of rapid change and economic pressure, these companies are not only growing – they’re redefining what innovation looks like in the EMEA region."
In April 2025, Carbon Clean announced the successful completion of the world’s first industrial deployment of CycloneCC. The modular unit achieved the major milestone of around 4,000 operating hours and was installed on site in under a week.
The Deloitte EMEA Fast 500 programme is an objective industry ranking that is compiled from applications to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programmes across EMEA. Carbon Clean ranked number 24 in the UK Fast 50, based on percentage revenue growth over the last three years.
