The report looks at the UK's fast growing climate tech sector, identifying 50 innovators across 8 sectors and themes, including energy, climate change management and carbon capture. It also analyses investment across the UK landscape to date, finding that between the second half of 2020 and first half of 2021, the country saw record venture capital investment levels in excess of £2 billion. With the UK emerging as a leader in global climate tech, the report identifies further areas of opportunity in the rapidly developing industry, including the need to close funding gaps within carbon capture.
